Branded Content
Branded content is a great way to tell a story while keeping your band front of mind.
A polished and professional approach is needed when shooting Branded Content.
The last two years I have worked on branded content for Companies like Lexus, Penfolds Wines, Kennedy Watches and more.
The brief from ABC Bullion was to create an eleven minute story showcasing the process in creating one of Australia's most famous sporting trophies, the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
They aim was to highlight the how the gold is sourced from an Australian mine and the craftsmanship that goes into creating this iconic trophy.
This project was shot over six seperate days.
Fx3 with Sony primes lens, Dji Ronin 4D with 24mm and 55mm, Dji Mavic Air 2 Drone and Sony Fs7mii. Shot in Log at 50p.

Short Video
A self contained video can be a promotional video showcasing what your organisation does, a tutorial/training video to educate or engage.

Events / Videographer
Events and launches can be captured to further promote your brand. Highlight key moments and messages that can be distributed on digital platforms or a reminder to staff of amazing event. Knowing what works and what is possible helps to streamline the process of covering a live event.
I have covered events from dinners, festivals, sporting events, state funerals, awards nights and more.
The brief from the Victoria Racing Club was to capture all the glamour of the Chairman's Annual Dinner, including entertainment, food and VIP guests.
Footage was uploaded to drop box and an editor completed the package, the best option for a fast turn around video. Other options were for an edit from me completed next day or compile uploaded to drop box that night.

Documentary
My documentary work was built on time working with Foreign Correspondent, Australian Story and Four Conners.
I understand the importance of keep a consistent look to the project and can achieve that over a short period or long period of time.
I have worked on over eleven 30 miniute documentaries ranging from political to sports.
Working with different directors and companies has made me a more flexible on shoots and open to new ideas.
For this Project we had a 12 day shooting schedule that included travel. Pre and post production was extremely well executed by Foreign Correspondent.
I received an ASC award for Cinematography as well as an international award for camera work on this documentary. I am very lucky to have worked on something so important.

Social videos are a great way to push your event or brand in short and sharp formats to suit the audience. Using the same high production values I aim to provide a consistent quality output across all required formats.
Shot on the Ronin 4D 2k 50p, giving the flexibility to float around the shoot, quickly and effectively capture the behind the scenes content from the photoshoot.
The brief from VRC was to capture two models at a photoshoot to show social followers behind the scenes footage and fashion tips for Derby Day.
The objective was to capture as much content of the shoot without impeding on the photographer whilst working with a producer to interview both models.
The example shown is for a website and also LinkedIn, with a 30 sec cut down used on Instagram.

Production
I enjoy been part of a team. I have worked on large verity of sporting and production events.
With Melbourne hosting so many great sporting events I have worked on the Melbourne Cup, AO, Australian Grad Prix, AFL, NRL and a host of live sports.
Other international production work includes:

Working for FIFA TV for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. I was tasked with covering colour and interviews with team Egypt on non-game days and ISO shots during the matches.

Working as a camera operator on the 2015/2016 English Premier league season for IMG productions. Shooting interviews and stand ups during the week and ISO footage during the game with colour.

Working in the UK to cover the 2015 Ashes series for Nine productions. I was tasked with covering fast turn around interviews and colour from inside the ground fro the live broadcast and post game show.
In the example shown, I was briefed to capture action from before and after a race at Flemington racecourse on a long lens using 100fps.

I started my ENG career in 2004, learning my craft at Channel Nine Melbourne before moving to the Australian Broadcasting Cooperation in the London bureau, followed by Washington bureau.
I have also freelanced for Channel 7 Australia, SBS, ABC (America) and CBS.
With a large variety of experience in different content and organisations, I have learnt the ability to overcome the challenges of a dynamic ENG environment.
Lighting is something I take very seriously. My interview and live location lighting uses all my experience from programs like 7.30 report.
I have worked with Sony and Panasonic ENG camera setups and regularly keep myself updated with menu and operating procedures.
The story was covering the unfolding financial and political crisis in Venezuela.
